Gabriel & Kristy’s Wedding, Daylesford | Country Wedding at Captain’s Creek Winery.
Kristy and I met at a local cafe in Geelong, only several weeks before her Daylesford wedding. As we sat down together for the first time, before too long I found myself instantly intrigued by her amazing wedding plans. As most brides can relate, planning a wedding is no easy feat. For Kristy, things were different. As we ran through the event details, I couldn’t see any mark of apprehension on her face, there were no worries about the day or her plans.
Clear most of all, was the amazing love Kristy had for Gabriel. Each time we mentioned Gab, her face lit up with a contagious smile that ignited the room. Straight away I knew I wanted to be part of their wedding day.
The wedding venue was held in Blampied Victoria, a small town just on the outskirts of Daylesford. For the curious tourist who is happy to veer off the main highway, you may just find yourself in this great country town. As I drive towards the venue, the scene changes. Dashed with dusty farmland hills on each side of you, you have only the rough and rocky tracks to guide you. Within minutes, you arrive at a hidden gem, the stunning Captain’s Creek Winery.
Kristy and Gab’s wedding was beautiful in every detail. From the intricate work spent on flowers and table settings, to the talented flamenco guitar players. Everything was thought out perfectly. Most notable, was the endless love they had for family and friends. Looking towards the guests, you could see how important Kristy and Gabriel were to them. And that smile. The same striking smile I first saw back at our meeting was beaming brightly as ever. Congratulations Kristy & Gab, we wish you all the love in the world.
