Simone & Brad’s Couple Photography, Daylesford, Victoria.
I met Simone and Brad earlier this year in a Ballarat coffee house. From the very start, the energy between these two was unquestionably electric. I knew straight away I wanted to be part of their wedding plans. Although their wedding isn’t for many months to come, I recently had the pleasure of photographing Simone and Brad a little early, for a couple shoot in Daylesford.
Just a short trip from Ballarat, is the beautiful township of Daylesford, Victoria. For those who haven’t discovered Daylesford, this hidden gem sits on the fringe of the Great Dividing Range. A township filled with opulent buildings and yesteryear charm. I recommended Daylesford to Simone and Brad for its wondrous country atmosphere and decadent gardens. However on the day of the photography shoot, it took us all by surprise. A wintery cold snap had hit, this beautiful rural city was cloaked in mysterious fog, rain and icy temperatures for the entire day. The imagery was taken at the Convent Gallery, Wombat Hill and Daylesford Lake.
Although we were dealt one of the coldest days of July, Brad and Simone’s couple shoot reflects so much warmth and that same amazing energy in every shot. It’s truly beautiful. My hat goes off to Simone and Brad, you two were absolutely amazing to work with and what is even more amazing, is that you both braved the cold for these shots. I can’t wait to be there photographing your big day.
Brad and Simone’s couples shoot was photographed in the courtyard gardens of the Convent Gallery, the botanical gardens of Wombat Hill, and around the beautiful surrounds of Daylesford Lake.
Nice shots! specially the one in the lake. It’s like a love movie scene. Love it.
Hi
My name is Fran and my partner is Bernie. We have been together since 2002 when he arrived from Liverpool England.
Was wondering if you would make some time during this time to meet with us – is this possible at all.
Thanks Fran
Great sense of composition. Nice work.
Amazing images! The fog looks so surreal, love the one in the forest.
Gorgeous natural shots, love your work
